Belle Mare Plage Resort is situated along one of the most beautiful beaches on the east coast of the island; offer an extensive range of amenities. Belle Mare Plage is situated directly on a 2 km long white sandy beach. Set in tropical gardens of almost 15 hectares.
Belle Mare Plage Resort is a new, deluxe hotel fuses traditional Mauritian stone & thatch architecture with French style, discreet touches of Indian colour and a definite Zen feel - in short, it's quintessentially Modern Mauritian. Unique features abound - in descending order there are seven bars; six restaurants; five types of stylish rooms and suites; four swimming pools, three health and beauty spas, two 18-hole championship golf courses (use of both of which are free to guests) and one really ‘connected' children's club with Playstations, computers et al. It's the one resort in Mauritius with more of everything.
Accommodation:
All rooms and suites have a furnished terrace or balcony; en-suite bathroom with separate WC and shower; air-conditioning; satellite TV with DSTV; IDD phones; minibar and 24-hour room service. All rooms and Junior suites face the lush gardens and the sea and some are right on the beachfront.
92 Prestige rooms - 45m²: No more than 12 metres from the beach (except the south pool rooms). Smart, comfortable accommodation.
139 Junior Suites: 68m of de luxe bedroom and lounge area separated by a work desk; dressing room; sensational open-plan bathroom and very large furnished balcony or terrace lounge.
4 Senior Suites: 96m of sheer luxury built close to the beach with CD/DVD and private fax.
Villas: 20 two- and three-bedroom self contained walled villas with private swimming pool, garden and gazebo. The open plan lounge and dining room opens out onto the pool and garden area and has CD/DVD; Plasma screen TV; full wet bar; private fax, butler's pantry and, of course, the butler. The three bedroom villas have a separate dining area with a dining table for 6 opening onto the pool area. The main bedroom downstairs opens onto the pool area and has a king size double bed, large bathroom with double vanity, bath, separate rain shower and separate WC and bidet. Sliding wooden doors lead out to an internal walled open air garden with marble outdoor bath, rain shower and day bed. Upstairs bedrooms each have their own bathroom and twin beds.
