Les Filaos is ideally situated on a small coastal road which runs along the west shoreline of Grand Bay called "Pointe aux Cannoniers", more specifically, 21 km from the Capital City of Port Louis and 55 km from the SSR Airport.

The central part of the hotel contains the reception the restaurant and terrace and bar lounge overlooking the pool, the beach and the sea beyond. The hotel is decorated simply but comfortably. There are excellent views of the wedge-shaped offshore island of Coin de Mire.

An unusual feature of the hotel is that it is sold on a bed & breakfast basis, so guests are free to explore the wide range restaurants, pubs and cafes that are situated in Grand Baie and Pointe aux Cannoniers itself.The hotels restaurant is, however, open for dinner should you wish for a quieter night.
